What is a VVE?

The VvE (Vereniging van Eigenaars, or Owners' Association) is the governing body for an apartment complex in the Netherlands. If you own an apartment, you automatically become a member.

“Its primary role is the collective management and maintenance of the building's common areas, such as the roof, facade, and stairwells, ensuring their upkeep and proper functioning.”

Beyond physical maintenance, the VvE also manages communal finances through service charge contributions, crucial for repairs and administration. It also establishes house rules to promote harmonious cohabitation. While VvE management can seem complex, Buur offers a modern, digital solution to streamline these processes. Our platform simplifies the intricacies, empowering owners to engage effectively without excessive jargon or paperwork. Buur aims to make VvE oversight efficient and transparent, allowing owners to focus on their homes.
