What we are building

An overview of your VvE finances that every owner understands: what comes in, what goes out and how much is set aside for later.

What the law requires

  • Every VvE maintains a reserve fund for costs other than the normal annual costs (Article 5:126 of the Dutch Civil Code).
  • For a residential building, you set aside each year at least the amount from an MJOP that is no more than five years old and looks at least ten years ahead, or at least 0.5% of the rebuilding value.
  • The money is held in a separate account in the name of the VvE.
