A leaking gutter, cleaning the stairwell, a new bike shed: in a VvE there is always something to discuss. With discussions in Buur you do that in one place, so everyone has the same information and nothing gets lost in a group chat.
Starting a discussion
Give your discussion a clear title and describe what it is about. Add a photo or document if useful. Other owners can reply.
From discussion to decision
A discussion is for talking things through. Time to decide? Put the proposal to a vote. That keeps it clear what was discussed and what was decided.
Tips for a good conversation
- Keep to one topic per discussion.
- Be specific: what is the problem and what do you propose?
- Stay friendly. You live next to each other, also after the discussion.
- Don't discuss personal matters, such as one owner's payment arrears, in a discussion with everyone.
