What Ben can and can't do
Ben is Buur's AI assistant. He helps read documents and find information, but he doesn't make decisions.
Buur is not live yet. This guide describes how it works at launch. Details in the app may still change.
Ben is Buur's AI assistant. He takes work off your hands where he can, but you stay in charge.
What Ben can do
- Read the deed of division. Ben suggests the apartments, shares and votes from your deed. You confirm them.
- Find information. Ben helps you find answers in your VvE's documents, for example what your deed says about balcony maintenance.
- Explain. Ben can explain in plain language what a term means, such as share (breukdeel) or reserve fund.
Ben runs on servers in the EU.
What Ben can't do
- Make decisions. The VvE makes decisions, following the rules in the deed and the law. Ben doesn't vote or decide.
- Give legal advice. Ben explains; he doesn't advise. For a dispute or an important legal question, consult an expert such as a notary or lawyer.
- Be error-free. AI can make mistakes, especially with old or hard-to-read documents. Always check important details in the original document.
- Handle money. Ben doesn't make payments or manage funds.
Getting the most out of Ben
- Upload the key documents, starting with the deed of division.
- Ask specific questions.
- Ask Ben where in the document an answer is, so you can read it yourself.
